Mattie is a FUN girl!!  This lively little 6-year old cairn terrier has been through a lot, but she’s always been happy, perky and ready to play fetch whenever you are, or sleep close by.  Mattie is crate-trained, house-trained, rides well in a car and walks well on a leash.   She knows “sit” and is learning “down” and “find it”.  She gets along with her bigger foster brother, but that’s because he’s very easy going and doesn’t bother her much.  She’s okay with the cat too. Mattie has been reactive to some noises and is learning that they are just a part of everyday life.  She still barks at thunder during storms and needs someone who can work with her to reduce her anxiety during these times.
