This dainty little baby is Coco. She seems to be a Shih Tzu mix, but quite small. Cute as can be, sassy and loves being around her people. This little senior dog likes spending her days taking long naps, sunbathing, exploring the backyard and sometimes going for walks. Coco is blind and has dry eyes, which will require ongoing medication. She can get spooked if approached suddenly and is not shy to react in that case. So we don't recommend her for families with young kids.

She generally does well with other dogs (she lives with 4), but hates one of her foster siblings. Everyone has personalities and preferences, we guess! We haven't really had to fully separate the two. They still are free to roam the house at the same time, but they are supervised. For the most part, they tolerate each other. Coco does fine with the other dogs. She would do fine in a home with other pets as long as they get along, but she may do best as an only dog hogging all the attention from her family for herself and being spoilt!

Coco is spayed and up to date on her shots. She has a follow up with her eye doctor soon. She also has slightly oily skin, but easily managed with regular baths. After few weeks, she has figured out how to get to the door to the backyard to do her business, however she can get lost sometimes and have an occasional accident. She keeps a pretty regular schedule though, so generally not an issue.

If you have room for a cute little senior companion dog, Coco would make a great addition!
